Home working uptake set to rise in public sector

 

There is likely to be an increase in home working in the public sector, it has been suggested.

    According to Ken Eastwood of Public Sector Nomads, speaking at the SmartGov Live conference, a need for further savings to be made in accommodation costs will increase the mobile workforce in the public sphere, reports the Guardian

    He said the public sector will need to adhere to government spending cuts and reducing the amount of office space they occupy will be one way of doing this.
